How to Repost on Instagram?

How to Repost on Instagram?

Repost on Instagram – First of all, before posting again. With other social networks, reposting is an innate feature built into the product experience and expectations. On Instagram, since it’s not a native part of the app, there needs to be an extra step:

Before republishing, it’s best to ask the author of the original poster for permission to republish your work.

You can do this in several ways:

  • Send a straight message to the original poster on Instagram
  • Comment on your photo to start the conversation.
  • Please login via email to clarify the details and get explicit permission.

Reposting has been a strategy on Instagram for quite some time, long before tools like Buffer for Instagram came along. Some third-party apps allowed particular forwarding features, often including watermarks or @-mention credits on the forwarded photo. However, the easiest way was to use a screenshot, a process that can still be replicated today.

Here’s how to Physically Repost Photos in 4 Easy Steps:

1. Screenshot From a Photo

Find the photo you want to repost with your audience and take a screenshot.

2. Select the Camera key on Instagram and upload your screenshot

Once your Image is saved to your camera roll, tap the camera icon on Instagram and select your screenshot as you would any other idea you want to share on Instagram.

3. Resize Image

Next, you’ll find it poverty to resize your post so that only the Image is leftovers. You can do this using Instagram’s resize feature, or if you’re going to crop before uploading the photo, you can also do this using your phone’s camera roll editing feature.

4. Add a title

Be sure to credit the person who originally shared the Image in your caption and tag your account using your Instagram handle.
